General Description
• Each press has the make-up of 3 printing units each comprised of 6 couples in a 4 couple
satellite unit with two upper couples
• The presses are divided into odd and even grouping where the even presses can cross select
one unit from an odd press to make the even press a four unit press.
• Each press has five reelstands and can borrow up to three reelstands from the adjacent press
making it possible for 8 reels to feed one press
• Max. B/S product = 40pp with 16pp colour (Using the 5 reelstands only)
• Max. Tab product = 80pp with 32pp colour
• Odd numbered presses have one jaw folder.
• Even numbered presses have one jaw folder and one rotary folder only one of which can be used at
one time
• The jaw folders are designed for a maximum 160pp tabloid
• The rotary folders are designed for a maximum 256pp tabloid
